People who experience chronic pain often struggle to feel safe in their body and trust their body’s ability to heal. Perhaps you are dealing with Arthritis and other joint problems ; Back pain ; Headaches ; Fibromyalgia, a condition that causes muscle pain. Rather than trying to reduce the pain itself, hypnosis for chronic pain is often more focused on acceptance of your chronic condition, with the aim of reducing fear and anxiety around it. Our perceptions of pain can greatly influence our pain levels and how we manage our pain.
You are more than a diagnosis and you can heal! Creating a sense of calm in your nervous system through hypnosis bypasses your critical mind and communicates directly with the body.
When you begin to trust your body’s ability to heal and give your body permission to feel safe and “let go”, your body will respond. I invite you to give yourself permission to create a feeling of safety in your body.
Please remember that repetition is a major part of rewiring your nervous system. By setting aside time every day to make this mind-body connection, your body will have the opportunity to relax and create a healing response.
